SHEPRENEUR

The ShePreneur Program, launched in 2022, is a dedicated entrepreneurship initiative designed to support the top girl teams that participated in the Atal Tinkering Marathon. Its primary objective is to foster an entrepreneurial mindset and develop essential skills, complementing the knowledge these girls have gained in emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, the Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence through the Emerging Technologies program.

The ShePreneur Program encompasses a range of activities, including bootcamps, internships, pitch deck events, product development, and mentoring support from Dell Technologies employees. This program aligns seamlessly with Dell’s vision of transforming lives and promoting inclusion by empowering girls to learn, grow, and take an active role in STEM fields. It adds layers of innovation to help beneficiaries refine their ideas in terms of scalability, sustainability, and user-centricity.

This initiative is groundbreaking, as it addresses the dynamic knowledge needs of the younger generation and ensures that girls have the opportunity to not only participate but excel in STEM-related endeavours, giving them a meaningful seat at the table.

GLORA – SOFTWARE – BASED SMART TEACHER WITH AI. Glora responds to voice commands and moves to the student

Mini Rover

This cost-effective model is equipped with various sensors, including a barometer for detecting atmospheric pressure, a thermal sensor for temperature measurement, humidity sensors, and both wheels and wings for rover movement.

School Health Services

School Health Services is a web portal that calculates the Body Mass Index of all students and logs it for School data

Green Age Biogas

Doctor RAD is a Robot Assistant for the doctor, that can help patients with primary health issues and can become a helpful assistant to the medical caregivers in the hospitals.

AgriSprayer

AgriSprayer is a portable fertilizer spraying pump that has a wheel-based stand with a spraying pump fixed on the stand with an Adjustable Nozzle bar based on crop height.

Sanitary Napkin Incinerator

The Taruni Arogya Bhagya Incinerator is based on electrical Incineration & is an effectual method to overcome the waste management problem from sanitary napkins.

ShePreneur Phases

Bootcamp

The program follows an unconventional approach that encourages girls to engage in tinkering and work with various new technologies from a very early age. The bootcamp phase allows students to transform their ideas into reality and use technology to analyze challenges and develop innovative solutions.

Furthermore, the mentorship provided by subject matter experts during this phase creates an empowering environment within schools, inspiring girls to pursue careers in STEM fields. This holistic approach not only fosters hands-on learning but also instills confidence and enthusiasm in young girls, setting them on a path towards successful careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics.

Internship

This program is conducted in a physical setting at the Dell site, where it introduces female students to various aspects of problem-solving, design thinking, product development, branding, and patenting. Simultaneously, it empowers them to thrive in the typically male-dominated STEM field.

During this program, women leaders in the tinkering space share their experiences, which greatly boosts the confidence of the girls and motivates them to pursue similar paths.

The program also actively involves subject matter experts and corporate leaders, offering an immersive experience to the girl student innovators. This engagement allows the innovators to collaborate closely with industry experts, seek their valuable insights, and refine the technical aspects of their prototypes.

Furthermore, the internship component of the program introduces students to the intricacies of the entrepreneurial world. It covers areas such as data analysis, intellectual property rights, business design, and related aspects like design thinking and rapid prototyping. This well-rounded approach equips young girls with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in STEM-related entrepreneurial ventures.

Prototype to Product

Following their comprehensive learning experiences in boot camps and internships, the girl students embark on the journey of transforming their prototypes into final products. During this phase, the students maintain direct contact with subject matter experts who provide invaluable guidance, enabling them to build products with enhanced confidence, clarity, and purpose.

Upon completing the product development phase, the girl students are encouraged to have their functional products tested by end users and collect feedback. This feedback loop plays a crucial role in refining their products, ensuring that they meet real-world needs and expectations. It reinforces the practicality and usability of their innovations and fosters a user-centric approach to product development.

NMS Explorer

Transfer device which can be operated by Foot. That helps in transferring bed ridden patients/ old age people. In normal situations at least two helping hands are needed to transfer a patient, with the help of this device a patient can be handled without helping hands

Smart Stretcher is a self-stabilizing patient transferring mechanism, provided with a high-torque metal servo box. It can be used during all instances of transporting a patient.

Water purification system using degradable cotton, activated charcoal, stones, and gravel to filter the water. This Solution uses affordable and effective products to purify the water

NMS EXPLORER is a one-stop shop that addresses all the challenges faced by ATL students. It is an online web portal that provides several tinkering tools and resources to make the lives of ATL students easier.

Patents

An essential aspect of product development is preserving its novelty. Therefore, the program provides participants with an opportunity to patent their inventions and protect them. The exclusive rights granted to patent holders safeguard not only the product but also its design and the associated process, as long as they meet specific criteria of originality, practicality, suitability, and utility. This legal protection ensures that the innovators’ ideas and creations remain unique and shielded from unauthorized use or replication.

Green Age Biogas

Green Age Biogas (In-house portable macro biogas plant). A Portable machine like a dishwasher can grind the waste and use it for biogas. It has a Separate piping for biogas with automated slurry separation with the waste grinder to grind the waste. The slurry can be used as a manure or can be dissolved with water wastage.

Flexy Wheel Chair

Flexy Wheel Chair (Transfer device which can be operated by Foot). That helps in transferring bed ridden patients/ old age people.
